WHO WE ARE
Swinhoe Farm Riding Centre is a small family business. It is run on a 1750 acre farm in the picturesque countryside of North Northumberland, with Spectacular views to both the cheviots and the coast overlooking Holy Island.
The Centre was established in 2005 by Claire Nixon. Claire is a highly qualified Coach with her UKCC Level 4 Coach and is BHS Accredited Professional Coach with her BHS SC (BHS Stage 5 Senior Coach), BHS SM (BHS Stage 5 Care and Management), BHS II (Stage 4 Senior Coach in Complete Horsemanship). She is a qualified Assessor for NVQ’s (workbased diplomas) and IV (Internal Verifier), BHS Ride Safe Assessor and Trainer.

We are here to help with expert 5* tuition and 5* indoor facility to match.
The Centre is the ONLY BHS Approved Riding Establishment in North Northumberland.
Lessons for all abilities, available for 4 year olds and upwards.
You can have Lessons on your own pony or horse too.
Adult Riding Club Tuesday and Thursday Mornings.

Winter Timetable
I’ve made this timetable to try to help show people what we have on weekly and when.
E.g. 
Children’s beginner sessions are on Saturdays (available to book on the app or by DM).
More experienced children’s sessions are on Monday evenings and lessons on Saturday afternoons (DM our page to book).
